☕ Morning Trivia

Amelia Island is the only place in the United States to have flown eight different national flags, earning it the nickname "Isle of Eight Flags." Which flag was the very first to fly over the island, way back in 1562?

Answer: The French flag. Explorer Jean Ribault claimed the area for France in 1562, before Spain, Britain, the Patriots, the Green Cross, Mexico, the Confederacy, and the United States each took their turn.
